The publication's intention is to provide assistance for the complete development of the personality of those who are interested in themselves and the world and who consider their spiritual life to be an indispensable part of their day-to-day existence. Műhely stresses the diversity of existence, pointing out how certain issues are independent of time and place and thus a philosopher living hundreds of years ago can provide reinforcement in our current dilemmas or we can find answers to our doubts from different cultures. Thus we feel the unified presence of diverse views, the multi-faceted nature of the genre, and the co-representation of former and current thinkers are important, whether they are Hungarian or representatives of other nations.
