The National Geographic Society is the largest scientific and educational non-profit organization in the world. The society publishes the world's most prestigious informative magazine, National Geographic, which makes its way to 60 million readers in 37 languages across the globe. The Hungarian magazine – parallel to the American edition – publishes most of its reports as well as a continuously growing volume of domestic articles, regularly compiling the past of domestic geography, including the scientific novelties of the subject and issues related to the Hungarian environment.
