Gyógypedagógiai Szemle is the professional journal of the Hungarian Association of Special Educators. The Association has been continuously publishing the journal since 1973 which has since become the most prestigious, widely-read national professional journal of the special educator profession. The periodical is published quarterly. The periodical strives to present the interdisciplinary nature of the fundamental issues of special education from the perspective of linguistics, psychology, medicine and sociology. It comprehensively deals with the theoretical and practical sides of disability according to the individual fields (sight impairment, hearing impairment, motor impairment, autism, speech disorders, intellectual disability, learning disability).
