The professional magazine HALÁSZAT, published by MA-HAL, is the fusion of two previous professional magazines from January 2026, the “Halászati ​​Lapok” (Fishing Magazines), founded 25 years ago and aimed at fish farmers, and the scientific popular magazine “Halászát” (Fishing), founded in 1899. The new monthly magazine of the Hungarian aquaculture and fisheries sector aims to increase income-generating capacity, provide professional inspiration, and publish popular articles formulated in a scientific manner. It is published in printed, easy-to-read magazine format on the sixth working day of each month.
