Published continuously since 1905, the Magyar Nyelv periodical is the quarterly publication of the Association of Hungarian Language Preservation. Its main task is the publication of national language-related researches, whilst also publishing informative, as well as as general and applied linguistics articles. It contains the following columns: Studies, Short Notices, Word and sayings explanations, Living language, Scientific history, Odds-and-ends, Association issues, Overview, Language history data.
