Világtörténet is the definitive forum of Hungarian universal historical research in its 37th volume. The authors of the articles and reviews are colleagues of academic research laboratories as well as instructors and doctoral students of higher educational institutes, yet the periodical also features articles from numerous prestigious historians. The contents and design of the magazine were completely renewed in 2011 and the mixed content issues were replaced with thematic compilations. It's important for the editorial staff for Világtörténet to provide information on European historiography issues, recent subjects, new methodological approaches and disputes.
