As the weekly paper of Hungarian Slovaks, Ľudové noviny has been reporting on the events concerning the Hungarian Slovak community since 1957. It offers a rich spread of cultural, political, public education, religious, youth, literary, art, scientific and miscellaneous articles for all age groups in Slovakian language. The main purpose of Ľudové noviny is to provide a realistic image of the international situation and life of the Hungarian Slovak intelligentsia, publishing news, reports and interviews as well as analytical articles which focus on the interrelated nature of matters.
