Postal history V Outside Europe
Magyar Posta continues issuing its series of definitive stamps on postal history, which began in 2017. In 2021 five stamps with no value indication are appearing. The new additions to the series were designed by the graphic artist Barnabás Baticz and produced by Pátria Printing House in quantities dependent on demand. The new issues are available from Filaposta, philately specialist services, certain post offices and www.posta.hu. The stamps of the annually issued definitive series entitled Postal History depict characteristic or unusual objects and work tools used by the postal service which typify a certain period. The stamps, in keeping with the practice for the series, are self-adhesive to make their use easier and faster. The series now presents vehicles and artefacts from the period after the change of regime which are still in use today. These are an electrically assisted bicycle, 2019 (Domestic), an electric three-wheeled delivery vehicle, 2018 (Domestic priority), an illuminated post sign, 1993 (Domestic registered), a 19t truck, 2019 (to Europe), and a letterbox, 2004 (outside Europe). The first day cover shows the familiar postal logo, and the postmark has a stylised drawing of the postal horn.
